Security and quality of life beyond compare
Andorra offers a high level of civic security. Investors are able to choose one of three education systems for their children (Catalan, French or Spanish) and enjoy a excellent public healthcare system based on several international agreements.

For historical reasons and thanks to large inflows of foreign nationals, Andorra is recognised as a very cosmopolitan country. The majority of its inhabitants
speak various languages (Catalan, Spanish, French and Portuguese) thus allowing easy integration for foreign investors and simultaneous entry into both the French and Spanish markets.

The fiscal pressure in Andorra is calculated at approximately 19%, well below the European average. Coupled with social charges significantly lower than those of its European neighbours, Andorra offers very interesting and competitive operating costs.

Andorra enjoys a prosperous economy currently based on the tourism, commerce, finance, and construction sectors of activity.

As a small nation state, Andorra benefits from a system of public administration that is close to the business community and as a result very reactive to investors’ needs and requests. Such a system allows foreign investors to develop their business quickly and efficiently.

The finance sector, built on five banking groups, has demonstrated during the last 75 years its efficiency and reliability in terms of applying international norms. The solvency of the banking system is the result of a strong capitalisation policy.
A country of innovation and technological leadership
Andorra continuously invests in new technologies and as a result boasts an excellent infrastructure. Andorra has already converted to an all-digital broadcasting network (September 2007) and has UMTS coverage over its entire territory. Andorran inhabitants enjoy an advanced telecommunications service thanks to an extensive network and a programme to connect each Andorran home to the fibre optic network by 2010.
